my oral presentation about summer holidays!

Hello everybody and welcome to my oral presentation, my name is Aina, I’m 14 and today I would like to talk about my trips this summer.

First I’m going to talk about Poole, a big town in England, second from Sant Antoni and Platja d’Aro and finally I‘d like to talk about my trip to France and the casting of Macedònia.

So, let’s start!

On 26^th of June we went to Poole, England, with Laura, Paula, Berta, Elisabet and a lot of people from Sant Boi de Llobregat and Barcelona. When we arrived to London, we went to Poole with Stuart’s and Robbi’s minibuses.

In the morings Laura, Berta,Elisabet,Paula, Claudia and me went to Mary’s house, because she prepared us for the Pet. And in the afternoon we did diferent things: Splashdown, bowling, shopping, cinema…Two days we went shopping to Bath and one day to Boursmouth.

This was the 1rst year that I went to Poole and I loved it, I’d like to come back again, the family and everything was fantastic! In my case the family had 2 girls of my age, Becky and Jackie, they were charming!

Every Saturday we went to London and we spent all day there. It was very funny because we were free in London. We did a lot of things there, but in general we went shopping in Abercrombie, to GAP and many more shops.

On 16^th of July we came back to Barcelona and the farewell of the people of Barcelona was very sad, in the aeroport we started to sing the songs that we sing during the trip in Poole and all people was crying.

A week after that Berta and Paula comes to Sant Antoni with me, every morning we went to the beach and in the afternoon we did a lot of things: going shopping, go to the cinema, playing on the beach... We have a really good time there. The next week Paula and Berta went home and came Júlia for 5 days. After a few days I stayed with Laura, she lived in Platja d’Aro, a town near Sant Antoni and every afternoon I met with her. It was fantastic!

After that I went to France, 4 days with my family and other friends, we went to visit different places, museums, shops... It was great! Although I prefer to stay on the beach.

Finally, I’m going to talk about the casting of Macedonia. On 3rd of September, my parents and my bestfriend Berta went to Barcelona, to the Fnac and I made some tests into a group of music, I was a finalist but I didn’t pass! There were many girls and it was very difficult. However it was an uforgettable experience.

And.... here ends my summer! It was fantastic! I would like to repeat it, I had a great time!

Vicky: She went to Kènia, second to Zanzibar, third she stated with her best friends, Mios, Elena and Ivet. Finally she stated to UPA center.

Lluís: First he went to Menroca, secondly to Platja d'Aro, third to Palafrugell, then to Aquabrava and finally to Snorkelling.

Laura J.: First she stated in Banyoles and finally she stayes with her father.

Aleix: First he went to Llançà, second to Apartment in Out Skirts, third he went to Pirineus, then to World Scout Jampboree and finally he went to Portaventura.

- Did you use fillers?(well, you know, for example, one second..)Yes, because you cant' do the presentation without them.

- Did you know how to pronounce all your words?Yes, I did.

- Did you check the pronunciation with a dictionary, a classmate or the teacher? No, I didn't.

- Did you change your tone of voice or use a monotone tone all the time? I speed in a fluid continuum but I didn't change a tone of voice

-Did you speed in a fluid continuum or with breaks and interruptions?Yes, during the presentation I think that I changed my tone of voice but I was very fast and some words weren't much clear.

opinion oral prestentation

In the oral, I was looking a lot the paper and wasn't looking the audience.
The information is correct and detailed.
The grammar was correct and varied and I think that I didn't repeat words.
I organized my ideas in order but I don't ask anything to the public.
I know how to pronounce the words but I'm always very nervous in the oral presentations so I have to try to improve it.
I spoke with some breaks or interruptions.
In my opinion, this oral presentation could be great, I was very nervous but it was good!... but I think next time I will do it better! I looked a bit more the paper and I couldn't go slowly and expressive.
I think we have to prepare more the oral for the next time.

1. Prince William

The British have always loved Prince William. his mother, Princess Diana, was adored by the public. She died in 1997. Many people think that William should be the next king of the United Kingdom, not his father, Prince Charles.
William went to the best schools in Britian and then started to do humanitarian and charity work. Prince William met Kate Middleton at St. Andrew's University in Scotland. In their first year, William and Kate lived in the same building. William was unhappy at university and wanted to leave. kate convinced him to stay and to change courses, from History of Art to Geography.
Later, Kate and William's friendship became romantic. But they did not want to marry imediately. The British gave kate the name "Waity Katie" because she waited for William to ask her to marry him. Now everyone is happy and agrees that kate is perfect for the prince!

2. Kate Middleton
Kate is from a rich family, but they are not royality. Some of her ancestors were poor miners and ker mother was an air hostess. The British think it is incredible that a "commoner" will marry the future king of UK. Kate's parents started selling party accessories on the internet. At first, they used their children as models for their catalogues. They soon became millionaires and were able to pay for Kate to go to the bes British schools.
Kate has a reputation for being a quite, serious girl. But some of her friends say that she dreamed of being Princess Catherine before she met William! This might be why she chose to study at St Andrews University where she could meet Prince William.
Kate said that the indea of becoming part of the royal family was "daunting", but that she would be able to cope with it.
Now she has married Prince William, so she now is the Princess Catherine as she dreamed before

3. The Royal wedding: William asked kate to marry him in November 2010 when they were on holiday in Africa. He gave kate a sapphire enagement ring with belonged to his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.
"The ring is special to me" says William. The British public loce kate and want a fairytale princess. It's a lot of pressure and responsibility for her. William's grandmother the Wueen, is "delighted" about the wedding.

My opinion about my oral!

In my opinion I think this time my oral presentation hasn't been very well, because I was very nervous. But I think next time I will do it better!
In this oral presentation I did looked a bit more the paper and I can go more slowly and be more expressive.

"Hello everybody and welcome to my oral presentation. I’m Aina and I’m thirteen and I’m going to talk about my Summer, it was fantastic!

During this summer I have done many activities, I met many people and I have visited many places!

First I am going to talk about Cantoni, then I'll talk about Sant Antoni, about Portaventura and finally about l’Escala.

Secondly I’ll talk about the activities and places that I've visited and the people that I've met.

And finally I’ll summarize my fantastic summer!!

This summer I went to Canonigros, the campsite, on the twenty second of July, I went with my friends, we did many activities, excursions and we had a very, very good time! I would love to do it again!

Then I went to Sant Antoni, to the beach with my family. In the morning I went on the beach and in the afternoon I went to Palamos or Platjadaro or some days I played with my friends. Some days we went to different beaches, at night we went to dinner at the beach and then we had war with water balloons. It was great!!

Then I went to Portaventura, two days with my family and my friends! It was fantastic because I went up to all attractions with Claudia! it was all very exciting!!

Finally I went to l’Escala, on the beach. One day we had a family meal and we were many! It was fantastic!

Overall I think it has been a fantastic summer! ! I've met many people and it all went very, very well!
