Gerard Piqué was born on second of February in 1987. He has got one brother, Marc, and he is eighteen years old. Piqué at the moment lives in Barcelona.
When he was young, he played in FCB, but in 2004 he left and he went to Manchester United. Then in 2006 he left and went to Real Saragossa because in Manchester, he did play much. Then he went back to Manchester. He eventually left to go back to Barcelona football club again under Josep Guardiola's leadership, helping the club to become the first Spanish club ever to win three cups. On 27 of May 2008, Piqué signed a four-year contract with Barcelona.
Piqué is one of the best central defences in football here so, he also plays in the Spanish selection. He brings the number 3 in the shirt.
On 26 of February 2010, Piqué signed a contract extension that willkeep him in Barcelona until at least the summer of 2015.
He has become famous for dating the South American singer, Shakira.
